Season of Life
"In the end it's not the mistakes that matter. It's what you learn from those mistakes." (Biff Poggi-page 62) Many people make mistakes but that
's not what defines them. What defines them is if they chose to correct the mistake. "It's not how we make mistakes, but how we correct them that defines us." (Rachel Wolchin). An example of this is when I made a mistake and didn't chose to correct this mistake until it was too late.

I have made many mistakes
, but the one that bothers me the most is when I chose to listen to other people's opinion of a person, instead of getting to know the person. The kids in my class were saying how weird and annoying he was and I choose to listen to my friends instead of getting to know him. Because of this, I never got to know about how kind he was until he left the school. I always feel guilty about judging him abfroutm what other people said about him, instead of getting to know him. I felt even worse when people were making fun of him and I didn't stand up for him.

In the end, I learned to get to know the person before judging them. Ever since then
, I stopped listening to other people's opinions of people and started getting to know them. Once I got to know the person ,I learned that they are not always the way, other people say they are. I also learned that just because you made a mistake, that doesn't mean that's who you are; who you are is what you did about the mistake.
